                    David Moss is a professor at the Harvard Business School where he both taught and chaired the Business, Government, and International Economy (BGIE) unit. He taught the core BGIE course as well as the Business History course. In 2005 he founded the Tobin Project which received the 2013 MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions for its work on inequality. The Tobin Project has worked with over five hundred scholars from over sixty U.S. colleges and universities. He created a course called “Democracy” which was voted by the students as the best course at Harvard for two years in a row. It is now being syndicated in over 125 high schools in eleven states as a new approach to teaching American history and civics.
