Cathrine Brun is Deputy Director at the Centre for Lebanese Studies. Her recent publications include “Subtracting Development through the Production of Il/legality of Young Refugees in Jordan and Lebanon (Refugee Survey Quarterly, 2023), “Towards a Conceptualisation of Relational Humanitarianism” (with Cindy Horst, Journal of Humanitarian Affairs, 2023), and “Carving Out Space for Equitable Collaborative Research in Protracted Displacement” (with Maha Shuayb, Journal of Refugee Studies, 2021). She is also editor of the recent volume Between Protection and Harm: Contested Vulnerabilities in Asylum Laws and Bureaucracies (with Luc Leboeuf, Hilde Lidén, Sabrina Marchetti,
et al., 2024).
