Nielsen Professor of Computing and Information Science at Cornell University, Director of the Institute for Computational Sustainability at Cornell, and Codirector of the Cornell University AI for Science Institute. She is a founder of the field of computational sustainability and the author or coauthor of over two hundred publications.
