Azadeh N. Shahshahani

Azadeh N. Shahshahani is the Legal and Advocacy Director at Project South, which connects legal and advocacy work and movement lawyers with grassroots organizations with a focus on immigrants’ rights and defending Muslim communities against state repression. She is a former President of the National Lawyers Guild. She has published in such journals as The City University of New York Law Review, Michigan Journal of Race and Law, and University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law and Social Change.
