Anna M. Michalak

Anna M. Michalak is Founding Director of the Climate and Resilience Hub at the Carnegie Institution for Science and a Visiting Faculty Researcher at Google Research. Her work focuses on the global carbon cycle, inland and coastal water quality, and climate resilience. She served as Cochair of the National Academies for Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine midterm assessment of the decadal survey for Earth observations from space, Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board for the European Integrated Carbon Observation System (ICOS), and lead author of the U.S. Carbon Cycle Science Plan.
