Çï¿ûÊÓƵ

Members' and their guests were cordially invited to a reception sponsored by the American Çï¿ûÊÓƵ of Arts and Sciences at the Civic Learning Week National Forum. Cohosted by iCivics and the Democratic Knowledge Project, the forum gathered individuals and organizations working to make civic education a nationwide priority for a strong democracy.  

This was an opportunity to connect with civic educators, leaders, and local Çï¿ûÊÓƵ members, and to celebrate the needed work to ensure every person across the country has the necessary tools to engage as members of our self-governing society. Danielle Allen (Harvard University), cochair of the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ’s Our Common Purpose project, shared brief remarks.
